This photo was taken and edited by myself at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby, which is a few minutes walk from where I live. The physical geography of the area is relatively forested with many small lakes and rivers nearby. Unpictured is the North Shore mountains, which can be seen in most areas of the lower mainland. Deer Lake Park resides within suburban communities, but the more urban areas of Burnaby can be seen when looking across Deer Lake.
